Homeless Outreach
Make a Difference Today
Approximately half a million people are experiencing homelessness in the U.S. We can make a difference by uniting together and implementing a C.A.R.E. program. The care program involves members of the community gathering together and making monetary or tangible contributions since homeless individuals and families lack clean clothing, shoes, and necessities due to experiencing hardships.
Community members can advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness by working with individuals to elicit positive change in policy, programs, and state, federal, and local levels. Community members can assist by participating in volunteer opportunities at local shelters, assisting with building shelters, and teaching life skills classes. It is also essential for individuals to understand the root cause of homelessness, encompassing the lack of affordable housing, poverty, addiction, mental illness, and domestic violence.

Serving Families
Here at North Texas Community Alliance, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Many families experience financial hardships and lack support, which is why we must gather together within the community to help each other by providing continuing education opportunities, support, and resources.

Our goal is to promote great opportunities for members of the community to provide a helping hand to their fellow neighbor who is experiencing a hardship caused by a natural disaster.
